LIBRA Memecoin Co Creator and Argentine President Locked in Dirty Scandal

Hayden Davies, the CEO of Kelsier Ventures, and Argentine President Javier Milei are locked in a dirty scandal over a leaked chat that suggests serious insider trading.

Hayden Davies co-created the $Libra Memecoin, which was promoted by the Argentine president.

The memecoin dumped hours after launch and wiped out over $4 billion in market capitalization, costing thousands of traders money.

A leaked chat made available to Coindesk revealed Hayden bragging about having significant control over the Argentine president. Hayden bragged about having repeatedly funneled money to the President’s sister and having direct access to the president through the sister.

“I control that n****,” Davis claimed in text messages from mid-December, adding, “I send $$ to his sister and he signs whatever I say and does what I want.”Hayden allegedly claimed.

Coindesk obtained the text messages from an anonymous source close to the situation.

Denials, Back and Forth, and Counter Narratives

The leaked chat stirred the hornet’s nest in the crypto space as they remain the strongest proof that the $Libra Memecoin project was a well-orchestrated Rug pull scheme.

Michael Padovano, a spokesperson for Davis, explained that Davis does not recall sending such a message and has no record of it being sent on his phone.

Recent media reports claiming I paid President Javier Milei or his sister, Karina Milei, to launch the Libra memecoin are completely false. I never made any payments to them, nor did they request any. Their only concern was ensuring proceeds from Libra would benefit Argentina’s people and economy.”

The statement added: “This is nothing more than a politically motivated attack on President Milei.”

Karina Milei, the sister to Javier Milei, occupies the post of General Secretary of the Presidency of the Argentine Nation.

Karina is an important link in the scandal as she represents the only connection to the President on the matter.

$100 million Bag

Despite the denial from Hayden Davies’s camp, Onchain examination revealed that wallets linked to Kelsier Ventures bagged over $100 million in the early hours of Libra’s Launch.

Hayden Davies and his team remain the biggest beneficiaries of the $LIBRA memecoin debacle.

The Libra Memecoin episode reopened the burning dialogue on the long-term sustainability of memecoins and their net value to the industry.

President Milei’s role in the $Libra memecoin is the second time in two weeks that a president has been involved in a memecoin.

The President of the Central African Republic promoted an official memecoin for the country, which also tanked a few hours after launch.
