To have such a strong list of nominees really makes it plain not only how much the industry has to offer the world in terms of solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues, but also how many brilliant minds and organisations are committed to using blockchain technology to advance society in many different areas. Highlighting this broad spectrum of use shows the impact the technology has and will continue to have, and I look forward to congratulating the winners come 23rd of March.”

Brian Gallagher, co-founder at Partisia Blockchain and founder of the voting Dapp, Parti.com, added “We are privileged to power the world’s first voting on blockchain. The inaugural Paris Blockchain Week Awards is another powerful use case of our technology and showcases how secure, transparent and anonymous voting can be utilized in practice and scaled for billions of voters. Our multiparty computation ensures the integrity of voting, bringing a high level of transparency while keeping privacy paramount, and the utility of this technology is endless.”

Jennifer de Broglie, Director of Thought Leadership at Partisia Blockchain, spearheading the Paris Blockchain Week Awards, concluded, “We put in some long hours to select the nominees for the Paris Blockchain Week Awards, as there are so many outstanding leaders and projects out there, and we know we’ve certainly overlooked some.
