Sogni AI and Salad Partner to Expand Decentralized GPU Network for AI Tasks

Singapore – April 29, 2025: Singapore-based decentralized AI platform Sogni AI has partnered with Salad Technologies to enhance its infrastructure and broaden access to GPU resources for artificial intelligence workloads. The collaboration will allow Salad’s decentralized GPU marketplace users to participate directly in Sogni’s Supernet operations through pre-configured AI workload “Recipes.”

Through the integration, Sogni’s Flux Worker and Stable Diffusion Worker are now available on Salad’s platform. This enables anyone with a Salad account to rent one or more of the more than 60,000 GPUs for immediate task execution. The GPUs come preloaded with required models and software, allowing them to process AI tasks on Sogni’s Supernet in exchange for $SOGNI tokens.

The earnings possibility for participating GPU owners is projected to exceed Web3 returns. According to Sogni, Fast Worker nodes running on an Nvidia RTX 4090 are expected to generate approximately $350 per month in tokens.

Mainnet Launch to Follow Testnet Growth

Currently in its Testnet phase, the Supernet has recorded a big adoption growth. Since launch, the network has grown from 10,000 to over 340,000 users. Additionally, contributing nodes handle more than 1.5 million image generations daily across over 100 AI models. These include image generation tasks performed through distributed worker nodes contributed by users around the globe.

According to company figures, the Salad-based nodes deliver performance equal to owner-operated nodes, with the added advantage of flexible scaling based on workload demand. The model allows GPU owners and renters to participate in Sogni’s decentralized infrastructure. Salad’s integration is considered a core component of Sogni’s decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) strategy.

Next Phase Targets AI Video Processing

Sogni recently secured $2 million in new funding. The platform has also seen significant user expansion. With this momentum, Sogni is preparing to extend the Supernet’s capabilities to include video generation. The planned move builds on the current infrastructure, which is focused on image generation via community-operated nodes.

Salad CEO Bob Miles shared insights about the platform’s mission. He stated that its decentralized GPU network is designed to support startups. The focus is on providing scalable and cost-effective compute resources. The companies have aligned to enable global access to computing infrastructure through distributed models.

Further technical and onboarding details for potential contributors are available through Sogni’s official documentation. The guide explains how to get started with the platform. Participants can learn how to operate a Fast Worker node using rented or owned hardware.
