Dankrad Feist, known for his work on Proto-Danksharding, voiced concerns about Ethereum’s current pace of innovation. “The current plan is just way too unambitious. If Ethereum wants to win, we need to be ambitious,” he stated, emphasizing the need for a more aggressive roadmap.
Jesse Pollak, head of Coinbase-incubated Base, echoed these concerns, urging that updates initially planned for 2027 should instead be implemented by early 2026.
