Zebu Live 2025, the UK’s flagship Web3 summit, will return to London on October 21–22, 2025, at the historic Tobacco Dock venue, organizers announced on May 20. Now in its fifth year, the event aligns with a broader national effort to position the UK as a global hub for digital asset innovation.

Produced by Web3 marketing agency Flight3 and backed by entrepreneur and investor Steven Bartlett, Zebu Live 2025 will coincide with London Web3 Week, hosting community-driven satellite events across the capital. Organizers expect attendance to surpass 4,500 — a 30% increase from 2024.

According to Harry Horsfall, co-founder and CEO of Zebu Live and Flight3:

In a post-COVID world, IRL connection is everything. A meaningful Telegram thread can take months, but a 10-minute in-person conversation can lead to an investment or partnership.”

The summit’s focus reflects the UK government’s evolving strategy for technology-driven economic growth. Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ “Plan for Change” includes support for digital innovation sectors, with blockchain and digital assets playing a central role.

A Platform for Builders and Policymakers

The event will transform Tobacco Dock into an immersive “Web3 campus,” featuring two primary stages alongside a dedicated workshop area for hands-on sessions, hackathons, and deep technical discussions. Notably, organizers say the format is designed to enable networking and collaboration across multiple layers of the ecosystem.

Participants will include developers, founders, investors, corporate executives, academics, policymakers, and NGOs.

This year’s programming will focus on five thematic tracks:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Consumer Applications
  • Infrastructure and Protocols
  • Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
  • Centralized Finance (CeFi)

Speakers announced so far include Sunny Lu, CEO of VeChain; Xen Baynham-Herd, Head of Global Builders at Base; Santiago Roel Santos, founder of Inversion; Rebecca Simmonds, executive director at Walrus Foundation; Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch AI; and Frank Chaparro, podcast host at The Block.

UK Eyes Global Leadership in Digital Assets

Zebu Live 2025 arrives amid increasing collaboration between UK and U.S. regulators and fintech leaders. The government’s policy direction suggests an openness to regulatory frameworks that accommodate blockchain innovation while promoting consumer safety and financial stability.

CEO Harry Horsfall rightly summarized the potential for the conference to boost the UK’s digital ecosystem:

Zebu Live becomes more than just a conference — it’s a launchpad for the UK’s next wave of digital leadership.”
