September 15 (Crypto-News.Net) – U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $159.9 million in net inflows on September 14, 2026, according to data from Farside Investors, snapping a multi-session stretch of net outflows.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the day with $134.3 million in net inflows. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) added $53.3 million. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) posted $42.0 million in net outflows on the same session, showing the rebound was not uniform across every product.
The September 14 print followed four consecutive outflow sessions from September 8 through September 11. The heaviest day in that stretch was September 10, when Farside logged $282.7 million in net outflows, with ARKB alone accounting for $164.3 million of that total. September 9 showed $120.2 million in net outflows, September 8 showed $46.6 million, and September 11 showed a smaller $13.2 million net outflow before the September 14 reversal.
Farside’s table tracks daily creations and redemptions across the main U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF tickers, including IBIT, FBTC, Bitwise’s BITB, ARKB, Grayscale’s GBTC, and others. On September 14, several funds printed zeros while IBIT and FBTC supplied most of the positive total. Smaller positive prints included Morgan Stanley’s MSBT at $9.7 million and EZBC at $4.6 million, per the same dataset.
Flow figures measure primary-market activity in ETF shares. They do not by themselves prove why investors moved capital, and they should not be read as a direct forecast of Bitcoin’s spot price. Crypto-News.Net previously covered earlier 2026 flow swings, including a March session when U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in hundreds of millions with no fund-level outflows that day (prior CN coverage).
House panel set to mark up Bitcoin reserve bill
Separately, the House Financial Services Committee is scheduled to hold a full committee markup of various measures on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The official committee calendar lists H.R. 8957, the American Reserve Modernization Act of 2026, among the bills set for consideration.
H.R. 8957 was introduced on May 21, 2026, by Rep. Nicholas Begich (R-Alaska) and referred to the House Financial Services Committee. Congress.gov still shows the measure at the introduced stage. A committee markup is a step toward possible reporting to the full House. It is not final passage, and it does not by itself create a statutory Strategic Bitcoin Reserve or change ETF flow rules.
Market participants often watch Washington calendar items in the same week as large ETF flow prints. Those tracks remain separate facts. ETF creations and redemptions are mechanical fund flows. Legislative markups are procedural votes that can stall, amend, or advance a bill without guaranteeing law.
What the numbers do and do not show
Single-day inflow totals can reverse quickly, as the September 8–11 sequence showed after stronger early-September sessions on Farside’s sheet. Readers should treat each print as one data point, check the provider’s latest table, and avoid assuming that one recovery day resets longer trends in cumulative flows or in Bitcoin demand more broadly.
Issuers and authorized participants manage creations and redemptions against underlying bitcoin holdings under each fund’s prospectus. Custody, fee, and premium or discount dynamics can differ by ticker even on the same calendar day, which is consistent with IBIT and FBTC leading inflows while ARKB still saw outflows on September 14.
