Edge & Node Launches ampersend Management Platform for Autonomous AI Agents
  • Ersend offers observability, policy controls, and budget management through a dashboard for developers and enterprises.
  • Edge & Node contributed to x402 payment protocol, A2A communication standard, and Ethereum’s ERC-8004 agent discovery framework.
  • Platform launches at Pragma Buenos Aires on Nov. 20 following an Oct. 30 virtual event with Coinbase, Google, and Ethereum.

Edge & Node, the founding team behind The Graph, announced the launch of ampersend on Oct. 30. The management platform handles agent payments and operations, built on Coinbase’s x402 payment protocol and Google’s A2A framework. The company will officially unveil Ampersend at a virtual event on X Spaces and launch the platform live at Pragma Buenos Aires on Nov. 20.

According to a press release shared with Crypto-News.net, autonomous agents currently operate without standardized management systems. Agent interactions remain fragmented and difficult to control at scale, creating operational challenges as these systems multiply across AI and blockchain ecosystems.

Technical Foundation and Standards

Ampersand extends Coinbase’s x402 payment protocol and Google’s A2A communication standard with observability, automation, and compliance controls. The platform offers a unified dashboard that enables developers, startups, and enterprises to monitor agent interactions, establish operational policies, manage budgets, and track reliability metrics.

Edge & Node worked with Coinbase, Google, and the Ethereum Foundation’s dAI team to develop foundational standards for decentralized agent ecosystems. The company contributed to x402 for payments and ERC-8004 for agent discovery and reputation. Ampersand integrates these standards into a single operational system.

Market Outlook and Launch Details

Rodrigo Coelho, CEO of Edge & Node, stated that agent-to-agent payments will require new economic infrastructure. He cited a16z’s State of Crypto 2025 report, which projects AI agents could drive $30 trillion in purchases by 2030. Coelho noted that mobile wallet numbers will expand from 41 million to approximately one billion agent wallets in the same timeframe.

Edge & Node will host a virtual event titled “Powering the Agentic Economy” on X Spaces from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST on Oct. 30. The event features representatives from Coinbase, Google, and Ethereum discussing x402, A2A, and ERC-8004 standards. Coelho will announce ampersend during the event, followed by an AMA session.
